This melting biscuit is a treat for chocolate lovers! La Maison du Biscuit makes it using the same process as the great pastry chef Antonin Carême in 1800 — a house almond paste, prepared each day by grinding Spanish almonds, muscovado cane sugar and egg whites, completed with butter and flour. Straight after baking, a full coating in the Maison's famous milk chocolate.
Presented in a magnificent vintage-charm family box, this set contains two freshness sachets and around 60 chocolate-coated biscuits. Caution: not recommended in hot weather.
